Library Acc. SL_ROOTPHOS
Name Solanum lycopersicum, root,5 weeks old plants
Organism Solanum lycopersicum
Tissue root
Stage 5 weeks old plants
Description Vector: PGEM Teasy; Tomato plants were grown hydroponically in modified Hoagland's solution containing 0.5 mM of KH2PO4. 4-week-old plants were subjected for phosphate starvation treatment by omitting the KH2PO4 from the nutrient solution. Tomato roots were harvested after 7-day phosphate starvation. Total and poly A+ RNA was isolated from phosphate starvation and control roots, respectively. Subtractive cDNA library was constructed using PCR-Select cDNA subtraction Kit (Clontech) to selectively amplify up-regulated genes under phosphate starvation condition.
