| Description |
Handpicked type VI glands from leaves of growth chamber grown Solanum pennellii LA0716 plants (25oC for 16/8 h photoperiod). Total RNA was extracted from 2000 handpicked type VI trichomes from the leaf tissue of Solanum pennellii LA0716 plants and used directly for cDNA synthesis using the Clontech Super SMART cDNA synthesis kit according to kit protocols but with modified primers. Primers used in the construction of this library: RT1: 5' -TAGAGGCCGAGGCGGCCGACATGTTTTGTTTTTTTTTCTTTTTTTTTTVN-3'; RT2: 5' CGCAAGCAGTGGTATCAACGCAGAGTGGCCATTACGGCCGGG-3'; 5' PCR primer: 5' -AAGCAGTGGTATCAACGCAGAGT-3'; 3' PCR primer: 5' -TAGAGGCCGAGGCGGCCGAC-3' |
